Chelsea kick off pre-season with a win

Blues begin new era with victory over Wrexham

Chelsea have begun their pre-season campaign with a 3-0 win over Wrexham at the Levis Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Ian Maatsen scored twice for the Blues, with Conor Gallagher and Christopher Nkunku also getting on the scoresheet.

The match was Chelsea's first under new manager Graham Potter, who took over from Thomas Tuchel earlier this month.

Chelsea will continue their pre-season preparations with a match against Barcelona on Tuesday, July 25.
