Reeve Remains at Helm of WNBA Champions

The Minnesota Lynx have announced that Cheryl Reeve will return as head coach after signing a multi-year contract extension. Reeve, who also serves as President of Basketball Operations for the Lynx, led the team to four WNBA championships in 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2017. "Cheryl is a proven winner and a great leader both on and off the court," said Lynx owner Glen Taylor. "We are thrilled to have her continue to lead our franchise for years to come." Reeve is one of the most successful coaches in WNBA history. She has a career record of 334-140 and a .706 winning percentage. She has also been named WNBA Coach of the Year four times. Reeve is expected to lead the Lynx into a new era, as the team transitions from a run of dominance to a rebuilding phase. With a young and talented roster led by the likes of Napheesa Collier and Kayla McBride, the Lynx aim to compete for championships once again.
